Daniella Paulina van den Berg (born May 24, 1996, in Paradera, Aruba) is an Aruban freestyle swimmer whose trajectory spans early local swimming success, U.S. high school competition, collegiate athletics, and international representation. Excelling in high school at Sagemont Preparatory School in Weston, Florida, she notched a standout 200-yard freestyle win (1:58.16) and qualified for state-level competition. Building on that momentum, she represented Aruba at the 2012 London Olympics (34th in the womenβs 800 m freestyle), competed at the 2014 Youth Olympics, and appeared at the 2017 World Aquatics Championships in multiple events. She further developed as a student-athlete at Florida State University, later advancing her studies at the University of Utrecht. Since 2022, she has combined her analytical rigor and competitive mindset as an economist with the Central Bank of Aruba.
