CLASS OF 2023

Alejandro Simo (Class of 2023) was a standout catcher and infield contributor for the Sagemont Prep Lions, demonstrating both offensive production and defensive excellence. Over his four varsity seasons, he amassed a .328 batting average, 62 hits, 53 RBIs, 28 runs scored, and maintained a stellar .993 fielding percentage, making him one of the top defensive performers in the district. He earned recognition on the All-District Team three years in a row (2020–2022), was named a Second-Team All-American at first base in 2022, and capped his high school career as a Senior All-Star in 2023. Following his stellar prep career, Alejandro began his collegiate journey at Barry University, where he now continues to develop both his academic and baseball potential.
