CLASS OF 2023

Ashton Smith (Class of 2023) was a dynamic dual-sport athlete at Sagemont Prep, excelling as a point guard in basketball while also contributing in volleyball. Standing at 6′1″ and weighing 155 lbs, Ashton led the Lions on the hardwood with averages of 10.8 points, 6.8 assists, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per game, while maintaining a 52% field-goal percentage and ranking among the top performers in assists and overall scoring in District 2A-15 and statewide. Known for his basketball IQ, quickness, and playmaking ability, he was a standout leader on both ends of the court. Following graduation, Ashton continued his academic and athletic career at Northampton Community College, where he plays at the collegiate level.
