CLASS OF 2024

Giovani Molina (Class of 2024) brought consistency and athleticism to the Sagemont Prep baseball team as a dependable outfielder and catcher. Standing 6'1" and weighing 165 lbs, Gio delivered a strong junior season with a .314 batting average, .435 on-base percentage, 22 hits, 14 RBIs, and 16 runs scored, all while showcasing a flawless 1.000 fielding percentage—a testament to his defensive reliability. As one of the team’s most versatile athletes, his physical tools were evident: he ran the 60-yard dash in approximately 7.33 seconds and displayed an accurate arm with throws reaching up to 77 mph. Following his standout high school career, Gio continued his academic and athletic journey at the University of Tampa, where as a freshman outfielder he quickly made an impact with a .375 batting average, .545 on-base percentage, and one stolen base in limited early-season action.
