Billy L. Martin served as Men’s Basketball Coach from 2005-2024. Martin earned Coach of the Year in 2021 guiding the Demon’s to a 13-2 record and spot in the NCHSAA Class 4A State Semi-Finals.

Billy was the boys basketball coach at Reynolds for 19 years before retiring after the 2023-24 season. Martin won 260 games at Reynolds and guided the Demons to three regular season conference titles in the Central Piedmont 4-A, three conference tournament championships, two Frank Spencer Holiday Classic titles and 15 state playoff appearances.

Billy also served as an Assistant Coach for the East-West All Star Game. Martin was a member of the UNCW Men’s Basketball Team leading them to a 35-17 two year record alongside his twin brother, Bobby Martin.
