The 2008 season will mark Tommy’s second in Royal’s organization and as the hitting coach for the Double-A affiliate. He spent five seasons as the hitting coach for Memphis (Triple-A) in the Saint Louis Cardinals organization prior to joining the Majors with Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Cincinnati, and Florida. He played on the Braves back-to-back National League Championship teams in 1991 and 1992 BS WAS THE Pirates’ 7th-round pick of the 1985 Draft. Tommy resides in Suwanee, GA with his wife, Tonya, and their daughter, Jordan.
