Multi-sport athlete playing baseball, football, and running indoor and outdoor track.  He was MVP and all-conference on multiple teams during multiple seasons.  Was all-region in his senior year in baseball.  Went on to Elon to play on a baseball scholarship and later transferred to Mars Hill
