Josh McKee (2018)

OUTSTANDING ATHLETE

Josh McKee was born in Fairborn, Ohio, at Wright-Patt Air Force base, to Donald and Melissa McKee. Josh and his younger brother Michael grew up in New Carlisle. He is a 2008 graduate of Tecumseh High School.

Throughout his high school career, Josh excelled both in academics and athletics. Josh was two-sport athlete; football and basketball.

In football, Josh was a 4 year letterman. He played on both sides of the ball and special teams. While on the field, Josh played multiple positions. He still holds 3 records as a receiver; Touchdown Catches in a season (9), Career receiving yards (2016), and Career Pass receptions (114). He spent most of his Junior and Senior year as Quarterback but also played running back in certain situations. Josh was a 1st Team CBC recipient all 4 years. During his junior season he helped lead the Arrows to a 9-3 season and into the 2nd round of the Division II playoffs.  Following his senior season, he was selected as the CBC Defensive Player of the Year and was named 1st team All State as a Safety.

In Basketball, Josh was a 4 year letterman. He was a 1st Team CBC recipient for 3 years. During his senior year, he helped lead his team to an 18-3 season and a CBC championship. He has multiple Bucket Busters and surpassed the 1,000 point mark. Josh was named to the Clark County team his junior year and was named Clark County “Mr. Basketball” his senior year.

Josh attended Wittenberg University where he continued his Athletic career. He graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a concentration on finance and accounting. He was a 4 year letterman in both Football and Basketball. He was a member of 3 conference champion teams and helped lead his team to the Elite Eight in both sports. He holds multiple game/season/career records as a receiver at Wittenberg. He was named 1st team All-American his Junior and Senior Season and was asked to play in Ohio’s college football All-Star game.

Upon graduation, Josh joined financial institution and served on the management team in different areas of Ohio. He currently serves Columbus as a Relationship Banker with Huntington Bank.

Outside of the office, Josh enjoys physical activity and spending time with Friends and Family. He is extremely honored to be inducted into the Tecumseh Athletic Hall of Fame and wishes to thank his family, coaches, friends, school administration, and members of the Tecumseh community.
