Zeke Eier (2025)

Zeke Eier was born in Springfield Ohio to Craig and Renee Eier. Zeke grew up with his brother, Jake and sister, Lucy in New Carlisle, Ohio. He is a 2011 graduate of Tecumseh High School.

Throughout his high school career, Zeke excelled both in academics and athletics. Zeke was a two-sport athlete; football and wrestling.

In football Zeke was a 4 year letterman. He played on both sides of the ball. Zeke played inside linebacker and fullback for the arrows. Zeke was a starter for 3 playoff teams, his sophomore to junior year, with 2 teams making it to the second round of the playoffs and his class amassed 34 wins in their 4 years. In Zeke's sophomore year he amassed 106 tackles, an interception and 4 touchdowns and the team completed an undefeated regular season. During his junior year he amassed 92 tackles, 3 forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, 8 touchdowns and was voted Special mention all-CBC. In Zeke's senior season he was selected as the CBC Offensive Player of the year, Special-Mention All-Ohio, 1st Team Southwest-District linebacker and Academic All-Ohio. During this season Zeke led the team in tackles with 86, rushed for 1241 yards and had 16 total touchdowns.

In wrestling Zeke was a 4 year starter at 189 and above. During his career, Zeke had 108 wins, 61 pins and over 300 takedowns. Zeke was 1st team Clark County 3 times, was GMVWA 2nd or 3rd team 3 times, was a two time district placer and a state qualifier his senior year.

After graduating from Tecumseh, Zeke attended the University of the Cumberlands where he continued his athletic career playing football. He graduated in 2015 with a degree in mathematics.  Zeke was a two year letter winner playing fullback. While at Cumberlands Zeke was academic all Mid-South and a part of the 2013 team that finished as national runner-ups in 2013. The following spring Zeke sustained a career ending knee injury.

After his playing career Zeke began coaching at Cumberlands, where he was a graduate assistant then a full time assistant. In 2021, Zeke began teaching and coaching at the high school level in Kentucky.

Zeke is extremely honored to be inducted into the Tecumseh Athletic Hall of Fame and thanks his family, coaches, teammates, friends, teachers, administrators for their support and encouragement throughout his time at Tecumseh and beyond.
