Adam Brown (2019)

Adam Brown was born in Dayton, Ohio to Brian and Lori Brown. He and his older brother Jesse grew up playing sports together. Adam is a 2007 graduate of Tecumseh High School.

While at Tecumseh Adam was a two sport athlete who excelled both academically and athletically. He played in seventy-seven games as a four-year letterman in basketball placing him in a tie for third most games played by an individual. During his playing career Adam received notable honors. To start, Adam was as a “Tecumseh Scholar Athlete” and held a 3.0 or higher gpa each season. As a junior, Adam averaged 14.5 points with 6 assists and 1.1 steals per game and received 1st-team CBC and All-County awards. During Adam’s senior bout he led the arrows to a 14-7 record and averaged 18.6 points with 6.2 assists and 4.4 rebounds per game and was a 3-time member of the “Bucket Buster Club”. He received team honors as “Best Playmaker” and “Best Defensive player”. He was 1st-team CBC and 1st-team Springfield News & Sun Player of The Year. He went on to win the coveted Clark County’s Mr. Basketball award and played in the Division I District 9 coaches All-Star game and was named Division I District 9 Player of The Year. Adam was named on the Division I All-Ohio Honorable Mention team. He finished his career as an all-time top ten scorer in school history and remains the all-time assist leader with 383 assists.

He played on the men's varsity baseball team his senior year.

Adam went on to accept an offer to play with the Cincinnati Christian University men’s basketball team and led them to the 2008 Division II NAIA regional championship and averaged 11 points and 5.3 assists per game that season. Adam subsequently transferred to Miami University to focus on academics where he majored in Psychology and graduated in 2011.

He is extremely honored to be inducted into the Tecumseh Athletic Hall of Fame and wishes to thank his family, coaches, teammates, friends, and the school administration for this recognition.
