Kyle is a 2010 graduate of Tecumseh High School. Kyle excelled in both academics and athletics while at Tecumseh. He was enrolled in Honors/AP classes and graduated with a 4.19 GPA. He was a two-sport athlete, playing both football and baseball.

Football became his passion, and it is also where he enjoyed the most success. Kyle was a 4-year letterman and rarely came off the field. He began his high school career as a freshman playing on special teams and eventually started on offense as a running back and defense as a linebacker.

In 4 years, Kyle was apart of 3 Tecumseh playoff teams and helped lead the Arrows to an undefeated season in 2008 and a 9-1 record in 2009. Kyle was named 1st Team CBC twice, as a junior and senior. He was also named as the Allstate Good Hands/Gatorade Player of the Year in those seasons.

Following his senior season, Kyle was recognized as the Division II Southwest District Defensive Player of the Year, was named 1st Team All State as a linebacker and was named 1st Team Academic All-Ohio.

After graduation, Kyle had the opportunity to continue his football career as a collegiate athlete and played football at D-II Notre Dame College in Ohio. Following his freshman year, he transferred to Wittenberg University and graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. While at Wittenberg, Kyle helped his team win back-to-back NCAC conference championships. Following his senior season, Kyle represented Wittenberg on the All-NCAC team and was named to the Capital One Academic All-American team.

Kyle got into coaching once his playing career was finished. He spent the 2014 football season on the Tecumseh Middle School staff and then became the Linebackers coach on the Tecumseh High School staff in 2015. He is currently involved with the Tecumseh Arrows Youth Football and Cheer organization where he serves as Football Director.

Kyle resides in New Carlisle with wife Sierra and their two sons Jaxx and Jude. Kyle works as an Operations Analyst for Dayton Freight Lines. In his spare time, he enjoys coaching youth football and leading young athletes in the community. He attempts to stay in shape when he can and recharges his battery by spending quality time with friends and family.

Kyle is humbled and honored to be inducted into the Tecumseh Athletic Hall of Fame. He would like to thank his family, friends, coaches and teammates for helping him become the person that he is today.
