Jerry Valentine was born in February 1946. Place of birth, Greenville, Ohio. Parents Eugene and Beulah Valentine. Jerry married his sweetheart Melinda.

They have 2 children, Matt and Mitchell. Both are Tecumseh graduates. Jerry graduated in 1964 from Tecumseh. He served in the Army from 1965-1967. He has helped with the concession for New Carlisle Cubs Pee Wee Football for many, many years. Jerry started helping at the football games when Matt was in middle school by watching the gate. He started helping in the concession stand for all sports and the band showcase. He started helping the Roller family in the late 70’s.

In 1981 he joined the Athletic Boosters. He has served as Booster President, taken tickets, and other requests made from athletic directors. The last 20-25 possibly longer he has served in the concession stand. He helps get things ready, helps clean up, and he has fixed about every piece of equipment the Boosters own. He has waited on thousands of people at the concession stand during the fall, winter, and spring sports seasons. He also helped the Boosters at the Nutter Center when they would work a concession stand as a fundraiser.

He is honored to be chosen for the Athletic Hall of Fame.Thanks to the Committee for the Honor.
