Todd Hensley

Todd Hensley is a dedicated community member and accomplished athlete with a rich history of leadership and service. A 1987 graduate of Olympia High School, Todd excelled in athletics, contributing to the football team during his freshman and sophomore years and being a four-year member of the wrestling team. As co-captain of the wrestling team his senior year, he earned numerous honors including Olympia MVP (1985-86), membership in the 20 Win Club for two consecutive years, U-High Invitational MVP (1987), and the Chuck Murdoch Outstanding Wrestler Award for Class A (1986-87). He also achieved second place in the Illinois Class A State Wrestling Championship at 112 lbs. in 1987 with an impressive record of 37-4-1.Beyond his high school achievements, Todd actively engaged in youth wrestling through the Olympia Kids Club and served as an assistant coach for both Olympia Middle School and High School wrestling programs, demonstrating his commitment to mentoring young athletes. In addition to his athletic accomplishments, Todd has devoted over 30 years of service to the Minier Fire Department. He currently works in the maintenance department at Bloomington School District 87, continuing his commitment to supporting local institutions. Todd Hensley’s blend of athletic excellence, community service, and professional dedication highlights his valuable contributions to both his community and the local educational system.
