Ethan Schopp

Ethan Schopp graduated Summa Cum Laude from Olympia High School in 2019, where he distinguished himself as a dedicated and talented student. Active in the National Honor Society, Choir, Marching Band, and Speech team, Ethan earned multiple honors including All-State Honor Choir (2017-18), All-State Honors Jazz Choir, and was a state speech competitor from 2016 to 2019. Highlighting his speech achievements, he won the IHSA State Speech Humorous Interpretation Championship in 2019. Ethan continued his academic and musical journey at Butler University, graduating in 2023 with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. Throughout his time at Butler, he consistently earned Dean’s List recognition and actively participated in ensembles such as the Butler Chorale, Jordan Jazz Vocal Group, Butler Chamber Singers, Marching Band, and Butler Basketball Band. Demonstrating leadership and innovation early on, Ethan completed his Eagle Scout project by creating a music storage system at Olympia High School. As a professional, he was honored with the Rookie of the Year Teaching Award while serving as Assistant Choir Director and Music Theory instructor at Penn High School. Ethan Schopp’s blend of academic excellence, musical talent, and leadership reflects his passion and commitment to advancing music education.
