A 2008 Honorable Mention All-American and the current school record holder with 51 assists in 2008, Pizzuto aided the Knights to a record of 46-16 over his four seasons. The Amherst, New York product and Amherst High graduate was a three-time first team All-SUNYAC selection (2006, '07, '08) and guided Geneseo to four consecutive SUNYAC championship games, including the title-winning campaign in 2007 and participated in two NCAA Division III tournaments. Pizzuto combined 91 career goals with 92 career assists for 183 career points, which ranked third at the time of his graduation and remains fifth all-time behind Hall of Famers Don Litzelman and David Spennacchio, 2025 grad Jimmy Atkinson and fellow inductee Craig Lange.
