Melissa Graham Kuberka '13

A consummate student-athlete, Kuberka excelled for four years on the basketball court, in the classroom and as a student leader. The Orchard Park product and graduate of Mount Mercy High School led the Knights to a record of 78-32 during her four seasons, including a 26-4 mark and the SUNYAC Championship in 2011. A multi-dimensional player, Kuberka graduated in the top 15 all-time at Geneseo in points (1,042/12th), rebounds (733/3rd), assists (295/9th), steals (156/14th) and blocks (115/1st). A decade later, her statistical highlights remain ranked fourth (blocks), sixth (rebounds), 10th (assists), 15th (steals) and 16th (points). In addition, she was third on the career free throw percentage chart and sixth on the career three-point field goal percentage list. A two-time All-SUNYAC selection, Kuberka earned honorable mention All-America, first team All-ECAC, first team All-SUNYAC and SUNYAC Player of the Year honors in 2013. Off the court, Kuberka was a four-time SUNYAC Commissioner's List honoree, co-chaired the College's Student Athletic Advisory Committee, served as a Resident Assistant and GOLD Leadership Peer Mentor and capped her college career with the 2013 SUNY Chancellor's Award for Student Excellence and Geneseo Athletics' Fred Bright Contribution and Leadership Award.
