Amanda Haney Blette '08
A two-sport student-athlete and five-time NCAA Division III high jump All-American, Blette was a four-year member of the women's basketball, indoor and outdoor track and field teams. The Unadilla, New York native and Sidney High School graduate was a five-time SUNYAC team champion and earned All-American all four years in outdoor and indoor in 2008 (5th). Outdoor, she was third nationally in 2005, sixth in 2006, runner-up in 2007 and placed fourth in 2008. She owns the fourth best indoor mark (1.67m) in school history and the second-best outdoor height (1.73m). In basketball, she paced Geneseo to a 54-52 record, playing in all 106 games with 40 starts. She finished her career with 841 points (17th at graduation and 23rd currently), 506 rebounds (14th/22nd) and 74 blocks (4th/9th). She capped her Knight career by being named the 2008 Louise Kuhl Award winner as the College's top female athlete.
