Geneseo compiled a record of 67-40 and qualified for two ECAC Division III Upstate tournaments in Waite's tenure, winning the title in 2003 with wins over Cazenovia, Utica and Rensselaer. A native of Pittsford, New York and graduate of Sutherland High School, she was a two-time All-SUNYAC selection, including first team recognition in 2003. At the time of her graduation, Waite held the school record with 123 free throws made in a season (currently third all-time), was second in career blocks (92/7th), third in career free throws made (269/5th), third in career rebounds (665/8th), fifth in career field goal percentage (49.6%/5th) and tenth in career scoring with 1,057 points (currently 15th).  She graduated in the top 10 and remains in the top 15 all-time in several other career, season and game statistical categories.
