Maggie Morris Hober '09

A two-sport student-athlete, Hober excelled for four years on the lacrosse field before using her graduate year as member of the distance running program. A lightning fast midfielder, Hober aided the Knights to a record of 44-19 and a trip to the SUNYAC tournament finals in 2006. A 2009 first team All-New York Region and first team All-SUNYAC selection, she scored then school records of 62 goals and 79 points during that campaign on her way to career marks of 196 points on 154 goals and 42 assists. The Massapequa native finished her career second all-time in draw controls with 112, fourth in career groundballs with 162 and still holds the school record with 12 groundballs in a game. During her grad year, Hober contributed to the 2009 SUNYAC Cross Country team champions by finishing 11th place individually for a second team All-SUNYAC award, before finishing 17 th at the Atlantic Region and aiding the Knights to a ninth place team finish at the NCAA Division III championships. On the track, she placed fourth in the SUNYAC indoor mile, third in the SUNYAC outdoor 1,500 and fifth in the outdoor 800.
