Michelle Rodriguez '11
One of the most decorated student-athletes in the College's history, Rodriguez graduated with 16 All-America certificates, including six on the first team (four relay, two individual) and 10 honorable mention (six relay, four individual). The Yorktown Heights native and Yorktown High School graduate paced Geneseo to four SUNYAC team titles and a 40-3 dual meet record. At the conference championships, she won 20 SUNYAC titles with 10 coming in individual events and 10 coming in relays. She held six SUNYAC records and nine school records at the time of her graduation and was named the SUNYAC Swimmer of the Meet in 2009, '10 and '11. As a sophomore, she became the first female competitor in SUNYAC to eclipse the five-minute mark in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:59.22 in the championship final. Culminating her career in 2011, she was tabbed the Grace Mowatt Award winner for achievement in SUNYAC women's swimming and claimed the Louise Kuhl Award as Geneseo's top female athlete.
