At the 2025 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championship Mooney took home her first National Championship.

She ran the 400m with a time of 55.69.

Geneseo finished fifth overall at the event, with 10 of their 29 points coming from Mooney's performance.

This championship also gave the Knights their fifth overall Individual Championship for indoor track & field.
