Four-time National Champion

Garcia-Cassani has been the most decorated athlete for Geneseo in recent memory. From the stretch of 2017-2018 he managed to win four National Championships. He won three in individual events and one as a part of the distance medley relay team.

His first two championships come from 2017, Garcia-Cassani competed in both the indoor and outdoor NCAA Division III Track & Field National Championships.

During the indoor meet, Garcia-Cassani won his first during the mile run event. He scored a time of 4:07.77.

Moving to the outdoor meet, Garcia-Cassani ran a 3:52.59 in the 1,500, getting him his second National Championship.

Fast foward to the 2018 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field National Championships, Garcia-Cassani joined up with 3 other members of the Knights to place first in the distance medley relay; the team scored a time of 9:56.63.

His fourth and final National Championship was once again in the 1,500. In the 2018 outdoor championship, Garcia-Cassani ran a time of 3:50.21, breaking his previous National Championship time in the event by over 2 seconds.
