In 2016 Huben competed at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championship.

She took first in the 3000 Steeplechase event, running a time of 10:38.60.

She was at least three seconds ahead of all other competitors during the event, and rightfully earned her first and only National Championship.
