2023 Softball 2007-2023

Megan Corriea was the Southwestern Oregon Community College’s softball coach and Recreation Center Specialist 2007-2023. She left to be the head coach at Cal Poly Humbolt where she played.

Megan attended Elk Grove High School where she was a three-year starter, earning first team All-Delta Conference honors on two occasions. Megan was All-Bay Valley Conference center fielder at Sacramento City College. She was a starter at Division I University of Louisiana at Monroe. Megan played two season as HSU’s center fielder. During her playing tenure, Corriea was selected twice to the All-West Region tournament team and placed 3rd in the NCAA National Tournament 2001.

Megan graduated with a bachelors in kinesiology in 2001. She is currently working on her master’s degree in kinesiology. She was also the Head Assistant Coach at Humboldt State University for 2 years, GNAC Champions two years in a row.

Megan was the Athletic Director and Commissioner for the Albuquerque Parochial and Independent Sports Athletic League and Assistant Softball Coach for St. Pius High School Placed 3rd in State 2005.

In her time here, she celebrated her 486th career win and her short time at Cal Poly Humboldt she celebrated her 500th win! Her last full season in 2022-2023 her team was 1st in conference followed by winning the NWAC Championships for the first time ever.
