CLASS OF 1968

Basketball – 3 Year Varsity letterman and played 1 year JV.

Perhaps the first 1,000 point scorer at WHS having amassed more than 1,170 points. Bruce was a top rebounder too. Co-Conference Champs in ’68 and a combined record of 36-15

’67-’68. 2nd place Conference Scoring leader 2 consecutive years.

Track & Field – 4 year Varsity with several 1st place meet finishes in Shotput and Discuss. Also ran the mile.

Cross Country – 4 year Varsity

College: Played 4 years of Basketball and Baseball at

Southwest Baptist College
