The most decorated runner in Waterloo High School history, Jenna Schwartz earned four-time All-State honors in both cross-country and track. She captured the 2017 2A state cross-country championship with WHS’s fastest time ever on the state course (17:04) and won the 2018 2A state title in the 3200m. Schwartz set the school record in the 1600m (5:00) and collected numerous sectional, regional, and MVC titles. She was named St. Louis All-Metro Runner of the Year in 2017. After earning an athletic scholarship to the University of Missouri, she now serves as an assistant coach for the nationally ranked track and cross-country programs at the University of New Mexico.
