• 1988 Began Professional team with the Washington Stars of the American Soccer League        

• 1988 United States Olympic Team Member        

• 1990 World Cup Team Member        

• 1993 Elected to Clemson University Athletics Hall of Fame        

• Named to Soccer America’s All-Century College team in 2000          

• Played professionally for the Washington Stars, FC Luzern, Maryland Bays, Millwall, and Atlanta Ruckus
