Basketball

A 4-year starter for the varsity girls’ basketball team. Sarafina was a team captain her Junior & Senior years. Sarafina is the only girls’ basketball player in Churchill history to have over 1,000 career rebounds. After her time at Churchill, Sarafina played division 1 basketball at UNC Greensboro & Mount St. Mary’s University. She served as a team captain her final two years at the Mount. Since graduating from Churchill, Sarafina has continued her education and artistic pursuits. She earned a Master's in Psychology with a focus on Art Therapy and Positive Psychology, and is currently completing a PhD in Transformational Social Change.
