Cross Country and Track & Field

Maryam is 2x All-American runner for the Bulldogs excelling in the 800m,1600m, 4x200m, 4x800m & Distance Medley Relay teams. While at Churchill Maryam held records in all her events and is still part of the school record holding 4x200 & 4x800 relay teams. Maryam captured two MCPS & two Region Championships in the 800m during her time on the team and finished out her career on the Washington Post All-Met team. Following her time at Churchill, Maryam went on to compete at the University of Maryland and is part of the schools’ record holding 4x800 team. Maryam currently works in Mental Health & Plant Medicine in Los Angeles, California.
