Baseball

A multiple sport athlete at Churchill, Ross played baseball, football and ran for the Bulldogs. During his time, he was coached by Bulldog legends such as Chuck Stevens, Fred Shepherd & Andy White. Following high school Ross played baseball at George Washington University and his 1979 team is in the GWU Athletics Hall of Fame for advancing to the NCAA East Regional Tournament that year. Following his college athletics career, Ross became a coach for GWU. In 1985, Ross became the bead baseball coach at Catholic University and just completed his 39th season with the Cardinals. During that time Ross has won over 800 games and secured a spot in the NCAA tournament five times. Ross has coached recent Bulldogs such as Ben Nardi & Jesse Lacefield and was an integral part of the naming of our baseball field after his former coach Chuck Stevens. Ross is joined in being inducted into our Hall of Fame with his sister, Sissy Natoli.
