Field Hockey, Basketball & Softball

Sissy, a three-sport star for the Bulldogs during her time at Churchill is also one of the greatest girls’ coaches in MCPS history! She served as a team captain on the basketball & softball teams while leading the teams to division championships. Since leaving Churchill, Sissy has coached field hockey and basketball at Richard Montgomery and Clarksburg High Schools. During this time, she has won a state championship in Field Hockey at RM (1984) and just this past winter she won a state championship in Girls Basketball at Clarksburg. Sissy has been one of girls’ athletics biggest advocates around the state of Maryland and she is considered by many coaches to be a mentor and legend.
