Henry was a legend in the hallways of Churchill High School. A PE resource teacher and coach, Henry led the Bulldogs wrestling program for nine years amazing 99 wins, including 2 undefeated regular seasons, and only 31 losses during this time. The teams won two Division Championships, had four county champions in one year and helped multiple wrestlers place at the Maryland state tournament. His work with the wrestling program set the foundation for todays program that competes on the state level on a regular basis. Henry was also an assistant coach for the boys & girls soccer teams for 12 years. During his time the boys team won three state championships, and the girls won multiple county championships. As a PE teacher, Henry developed the most comprehensive high school intramural athletic program in MCPS and was even recognized as the MCPS PE Teacher of the Year.
