• Represented the U.S. in the 1984 Winter Paralympics.

• Finished in 14th place in the Men's Downhill, 19th place in the Men's Giant Slalom and 19th place in the Men's Slalom.

• Chloupek, like Mike Benning, helped pave the way for the professionalization of the U.S. Paralympic ski team.
