• 1992 Barcelona Olympics: McCormick competed in the Men's C2 (Slalom) event alongside his partner, Bulldog alum, Elliot Weintrob. The pair finished in 15th place.

• Following the Olympics, he continued to compete at a high level. In 1993, he and Weintrob earned a bronze medal at the World Cup event in Minden, Germany.
