RACHEL NICHOLS

Rachel Nichols has over 25 years of experience in journalism, beginning her career in print before moving to television.
Early Career: She spent nearly a decade at The Washington Post (1996–2004) covering the NHL and NBA.
ESPN (Two Stints): * She first joined ESPN in 2004, working on SportsCenter, Sunday NFL Countdown, and as a sideline reporter for Monday Night Football.
After a three-year stint at CNN and Turner Sports (where she hosted Unguarded with Rachel Nichols), she returned to ESPN in 2016.
She became widely recognized as the creator and host of the daily NBA show The Jump.
She is currently the host & executive producer for Showtime's Headliners with Rachel Nichols along with hosting Hometown with Rachel Nichols on Monumental Sports Network.
Currently co-hosts the weekly NBA podcast Bully Ball.
Education: She is a graduate of Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.
Served as editor of Winston Churchill HS school newspaper, The Observer when a student.
