Andy, a member of the NBA's Miami Heat front office since it's inaugural season in 1988, has served various roles during his time. Most recently, Andy serves as Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations/General Manager. In his time in the front office, Elisburg has been apart of three NBA Championships, seven Eastern Conference Championships, 24 postseason berths and 16 division titles.

Andy began his career in the NBA with the Washington Bullets in the summer of 1988 as an unpaid intern in the public relations department. After college he was hired by the Heat and has remained there ever since. Starting as a public relations assistant, Andy rose through various positions, including Director of Team Operations and Vice President of Basketball Operations, before becoming General Manager in 2013.
