Emily Bolt (Zeeland, Mich. | Holland Christian) closed out her collegiate diving career in March by becoming the first women’s athlete in Davenport history to score at the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships. Bolt finished 15th in the nation on the one-meter board and 22nd on the three-meter board. She has played a pivotal role in helping to build the Panthers’ fledgling women’s swimming & diving program, which launched in 2018. In addition to her prowess in the pool, Bolt has been honored with both Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) All-Academic and College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America honors for her excellence in the classroom. Bolt’s postgraduate scholarship will be utilized at the University of Maryland, where she will work towards a Master’s degree in social work.
