Justin Crawmer (Urbandale, Iowa | Waukee) played outside back for the Carleton Knights with whom he earned Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2023. A First Team All-America defender, Crawmer started every game last season for the Knights, helping Carleton reach the second round of the NCAA Tournament while surrendering a program-low six goals for the season. Crawmer also contributed seven assists and three goals on the offensive end of the field. In the classroom, Crawmer maintained a 3.98 grade point average as a biology major at Carleton and was a member of the Osteoarthritis Research Society International (OARSI), the Carleton Pre-Health Association (CPA), Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), among other academic and community initiatives. Crawmer - who also received the NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship last spring - will be headed to the University of Iowaβs Carver College of Medicine this fall in pursuit of his MD.
