Thea Ring (Mora, Sweden / Mora) established herself as one of the most decorated athletes in NPU track & field history during her three seasons as a Viking. The multi-event standout collected conference championships in both the pentathlon and heptathlon competitions at the respective indoor and outdoor College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) meets in 2025, setting a new conference record in the pentathlon on her way to being voted the CCIW Female Indoor Athlete of the Meet for a second straight year. Ring went on to receive First Team All-America honors in the pentathlon at the 2025 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships before setting the CCIW championship record in the heptathlon and adding a Second Team All-America distinction to her name at the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Academically, the physical education major graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 3.95 GPA and a trio of Academic All-CCIW and Academic All-USTFCCCA on her résumé.
