George "Mike" Seibel lettered in football, basketball and baseball. In basketball, he teamed-up with Bill "Aggie" Craig and Max Hanlon to form the trio called the "Triple Trouble." George excelled in baseball and was an outstanding hitter and pitcher. In 1943, he led the Yellowjackets to the State Semi-Finals. During that tournament Mike pitched a no-hitter, a one-hitter, a two-hitter, a three-hitter, a four-hitter and three five-hit games; striking out 91 batters in 76 innings.
