'62 '04 Football | Baseball

Lou played varsity football and baseball all four years while attending Taylor High School. He was captain of both the football and baseball teams his senior year. He played on two football championship teams, 1959 and 1962, earning two All-League and AII-City honors his senior year. He also played on the District, Regional, and State Baseball Championship team in 1962. Lou went on to play baseball at Defiance College and Eastern Kentucky University, earning Small College All- American honors.
