Jerry graduated from Taylor in 1991. He earned 8 varsity letters: football (3), baseball (3) and basketball (2). After graduation, Jerry attended the United States Military Academy at West Point where he participated in football. Jerry was an oufstanding football and baseball player. As the quarterback, he led his team in passing, rushing and punting statistics. He was 1st in defensive tackles in the city in 1990. He led his baseball team with a .451 batting average in '90. He was captain of the football team in 1990, basketball team in '90- 91 and baseball team in '90 and '91. In his athletic career at Taylor, Jerry was the MVP in both football and baseball in 1990-'91, named All-League in football '88, '89 and '90 and All-League in baseball in '90-'91. He received the Robert Cavanaugh Outstanding Athlete Award and the DennisSeaver Ath-Demic Award in 1991. Jerry graduated from Taylor in 1991.
