Earl "Sonny" Knight played football, basketball, baseball and track & field for Taylor High School from 1947-1951. He was selected Ist Team All-League and All-City in football. "Sonny" was a member of the 1949 State Championship Team. He attended the University of Cincinnati on a football scholarship.
