Bob attended Taylor from 1961-1965 and received seven Varsity letters - 2 in football, 1 in basketball and 4 in baseball. He was the quarterback of the 1964 championship football team. His performance earned him All-County honors. He played basketball for Coach Bud Hartzell and lettered his senior year. Bob was an outstanding second baseman for Coach Bo Betz. He was a member on the 1962 State Championship team during his freshman season and was instrumental on teams that made it to District competition in his sophomore, junior and senior seasons. He married Sharon Ballard, class of 1973. They live in Greendale, Indiana, and enjoy spending time with their children - Robert, Arron, Stephanie and Adam - and grandchildren.
