'69 '24 Track and Field

Randy broke records in all track and field running events, set new records several times, improved Taylor's team score and standing at meets via individual points scored, and at least one instance accomplished 20 straight wins. He received All-County Honors, was a state finalist, and won the 440m high school district championship. Due to his success, his interest and now other students interest in track grew to a team of 30; his success was recognized regularly by local newspapers. After graduation from Taylor, Randy received a grant-in-aid from Miami University, where he continued is track career
