George earned two Wing-T's while playing sports at Taylor. He received varsity letters in track, football, baseball, and basketball. He was Captain and MVP of the football, basketball and baseball teams. George received All-League and All-City honors for football and basketball in 1960 & 1961. He signed a professional baseball contract with the Los Angeles Angels. George also played Canadian Football in Ottawa, Canada in 1964. George earned two Wing-T's while playing sports at Taylor.
