'76 '06 Cheerleading | Tennis | Basketball | Softball

A 1976 graduate, Tami participated in tennis, basketball, softball and cheerleading. She received 12 varsity letters: tennis (4), basketball (4) and softball (4).

In 1976-'77 she was the captain of each team. She was also the MVP of the basketball and softball teams. Her basketball team won the league championship and qualified for the Regional tournament by winning the Sectional and District tournaments. She was selected All-League in basketball in 1975 and '76 and All-League in softball 1975 and '76. Tami attended the University of Cincinnati on a basketball scholarship. While there she also played minor and major league softball. Upon graduation she accepted a physical education position in the Three Rivers School District. 

In addition to being a fine athlete, Tami made an outstanding contribution to the school district by coaching volleyball (1980-'84) and softball (1980-'98). Her softball teams won numerous League championships. She was awarded League Coach of the Year six times and the Cincinnati Enquirer Coach of the Year in 1993. Her team qualified for the Slow Pitch State Tournament in '91, '92, '93 and '94. The 1993 team finished 4th and the '94 team was runner-up.
