John Creighton is an athletic director who consistently goes above and beyond to support student-athletes and often does so without seeking recognition. He launched a unified sports program to give students with disabilities the opportunity to compete alongside their peers, creating a more inclusive and meaningful athletic experience.

Committed to equity in girls’ sports, he also started both girls flag football and girls wrestling so that female athletes receive the same visibility and opportunities as their male counterparts. Since his arrival, he has worked hard to close the competitive gap with larger schools in the area while keeping the focus on providing a positive, memorable experience for every student-athlete. Above all, colleagues describe him as not only an outstanding athletic director but also “a great human being.”
