Dr. Kimberly Watamura serves the El Diamante athletic community every day, pouring her heart and soul into every program on campus. She is known for strongly supporting her coaches’ decisions while always keeping athletes’ best interests and the integrity of each program at the center of her work. With a “character first” mindset, she actively encourages as many students as possible to participate in athletics and stay engaged in extracurricular activities.

Always looking for ways to improve, she recently asked every program to complete at least one community service event, with examples like the baseball team serving at the local Miracle League to support individuals with disabilities. Dr. Watamura spends countless hours courtside, on the sidelines, and out at the fields, putting out fires and making sure every team feels seen, supported, and valued.
