John has gone above and beyond to upgrade Granite City's sports facilities and make sure that GCHS athletes can perform their best.

He has always been someone you can talk to when you need help or advice, and has demonstrated that he will go above and beyond to help out anyone in the district. John makes sure that everyone knows that their opinions are heard no matter what sport they play, or their background.

Within in the last 5 years, thanks to John, Granite City now has a newly installed turf football field, turf soccer field, turf softball field, under-construction turf baseball field, and brand new tennis courts.
